About PayRiseCalc

PayRiseCalc is a small, independent website with free calculators for everyday UK pay questions.

PayRiseCalc is run by App Edge Technologies (Private) Limited, a software company based in Pakistan.

Why this site exists

Questions about pay often come up at big moments: a new job offer, a change to your hours, or a move to part-time work. Many calculators give you a number without saying where it came from. We wanted tools that give the answer first and then show every step, so you can check the sum yourself.

What we have built so far

We are adding calculators one at a time and only publish a tool once it has been tested. Right now the live calculator is:

• Pro rata salary calculator: part-time or part-year pay from a full-time salary.

Tools marked "Coming soon" on the All calculators page are planned but not finished. US state paycheck calculators are planned after the main UK tools.

How we keep the numbers honest

Any tool that uses tax rates takes them from official sources such as HMRC, GOV.UK and the IRS, and shows which tax year it uses. We check those rates every year. You can read the full process on How we check rates.

Your privacy

The calculators run in your web browser. The figures you type are not sent to us or stored by us. We do not ask you to sign up or give your name. Our Privacy page explains what data our hosting and adverts do use.

How the site is paid for

The calculators are free to use. To cover running costs we plan to show adverts. Adverts will never change a result, and no company pays us to recommend it in a calculator.

What we are not

PayRiseCalc is not part of HMRC, GOV.UK or any government body, and we are not financial advisers. Our results are estimates to help you understand your pay. For decisions that matter, check your payslip, your contract or a qualified adviser.
