The short version: the numbers you type into our calculators stay in your browser. We do not ask for your name or email to use the site.

Who we are

This website, payrisecalc.com, is run by App Edge Technologies (Private) Limited, Pakistan, under the name PayRiseCalc. We are responsible for the personal data described on this page. You can contact us about privacy at contact@payrisecalc.com.

What you type into the calculators

Our calculators run in your web browser. The salaries, hours and other figures you enter are not sent to us and are not stored by us. When you close or reload the page, they are gone.

Information collected when you visit

Like almost every website, some technical information is processed when your browser loads a page:

• Hosting and security (Cloudflare). Our site is hosted by Cloudflare. To deliver pages and protect the site from attacks, Cloudflare processes your IP address and basic details about your browser and device. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
• Visitor statistics (Cloudflare Web Analytics). We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are popular. It does not use cookies and does not build a profile of you. We only see totals, such as page views and countries.
• Fonts (Google Fonts). Our text fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google's servers and Google receives your IP address. See Google's privacy policy.

Adverts and cookies (Google AdSense)

We plan to show adverts from Google AdSense to pay for the site. This section explains how that works once adverts are switched on.

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this website and other websites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies lets Google and its partners show you ads based on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet.
• Other ad companies that work with Google may also set cookies or use similar technology on this site.
• You can read how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Before any advertising cookies are used, visitors in the UK, the European Economic Area and Switzerland will see a consent message. You can choose to accept or refuse personalised ads, and you can change your choice at any time. If you refuse, Google may still show non-personalised ads, which use cookies only for things like limiting how often you see an ad and preventing fraud.

You can also:

• turn off personalised ads from Google in My Ad Center
• opt out of personalised ads from many other ad companies at Your Online Choices or aboutads.info
• block or delete cookies in your browser settings

Other cookies

Apart from advertising, we do not set cookies of our own. Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie to tell real visitors apart from bots.

If you email us

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write. We use it only to reply and to fix any problem you report. We delete messages when they are no longer needed, and within two years at most. We never sell or share your email address.

Why we are allowed to use this data

Under UK data protection law (the UK GDPR), we rely on:

• legitimate interests for hosting, security, visitor statistics and replying to emails, because the site cannot run safely without them
• your consent for advertising cookies, which you can withdraw at any time

Data sent outside the UK

PayRiseCalc is run from Pakistan by App Edge Technologies (Private) Limited. If you email us, your email address and message are read and stored by our team in Pakistan. We use them only as described in this policy.

Cloudflare and Google may process data in the United States and other countries. They use legal safeguards approved under UK law, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum and the UK-US data bridge.

Your rights

You have the right to ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to how we use it, and to withdraw consent. Email contact@payrisecalc.com and we will reply within one month. Because we hold so little data, in most cases we will not have anything that identifies you.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

Children

This site is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we use data, for example when adverts go live, we will update this page and the date at the top.
